Beyond Spots & Dots Earns First PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Award

Beyond Spots & Dots, a local full-service advertising agency, recently joined nearly 250 of the Pittsburgh region’s most talented communicators at the annual PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Awards. This year marked the agency’s first time submitting an entry, attending the event and receiving an accolade for a public relations campaign.
Beyond Spots & Dots received a PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Award in the Regulated Communications category. The agency submitted on behalf of work completed for Pittsburgh Fire Fighters IAFF Local No. 1, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the working and living conditions of firefighters serving in the Pittsburgh area. The Regulated Communications category was described as “a program designed to impact donors, grants, stakeholder, investors and other influencers as part of an organization’s operations.”
Beyond Spots & Dots provided a detailed summary and creative assets regarding their Fire Ops 101 campaign. This campaign aimed to secure local and state legislators’ attendance to Pittsburgh Fire Fighters’ Fire Ops 101 event and influence legislators’ decision-making regarding House Bill 432.
“There’s no such thing as ‘that’s not in my job description’ for firefighters,” said Andreas Beck, CEO, Beyond Spots & Dots. “We’re incredibly proud of the work we did to support the men and women who selflessly protect our community on a daily basis. It’s a great testament to our team’s efforts to be recognized by peers in the field.”
Impartial judges from the PRSA Western Michigan chapter reviewed and judged the entries for the 2020 PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Awards.
