Beyond Spots & Dots Wins PRism Award for Women-to-Women Grant

Beyond Spots & Dots, a full-service advertising agency, announced that it has been recognized by the Central Ohio Chapter PRism Awards for the agency’s corporate social responsibility through its Women-to-Women Grant Program. This accolade emphasizes Beyond Spots & Dots’ ongoing commitment to supporting women-owned businesses.

Beyond Spots & Dots’ PRism Award for corporate social responsibility recognized the agency’s public relations strategy to encourage women-owned businesses to apply to its Women-to-Women Grant Program. The goal of this program was to help small businesses impacted by COVID-19. After successfully marketing the grant, applications were reviewed and three entries were chosen. The $15,000 grant was split evenly between three winners, one from each of the cities in which the agency has an office presence: Pittsburgh, PA, Baltimore, MD and Columbus, OH.

“As a woman-owned company, we are incredibly fortunate to have been able to sustain our business through such a difficult time. With the Women-to-Women Grant Program, we wanted to extend our support to female business owners who were struggling to keep their doors open during the pandemic,” said Melanie Querry, President & Founder of Beyond Spots & Dots. “We are grateful to have had the ability to provide funding to three outstanding women-owned businesses through this grant.”

The PRism Awards, presented by the Central Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, honors exceptional public relations activities from a diverse mix of businesses, industries and backgrounds throughout central Ohio. Holding a PRism Award for corporate social responsibility is a high honor as it shows an organization’s use of public relations in conjunction with its commitment to the greater community.
